This CCM game worn jersey is autographed by: PATRICK ROY
Patrick Roy Late-1980's early 90's Montreal Canadiens Autographed Game Worn Jersey:
Exceptional jersey with fantastic provenance is this classic red Canadiens road jersey donned by the legendary Patrick Roy while he was forging his reputation as one of hockey's all-time greatest net minders. With a Maska Ultrafil tag in the neck and the CCM and NHL logos embroidered into the rear hem, the shirt shows definite game use. We count eight black/puck marks, including one in the tackle twill tri-color Habs crest, pilling around the collar and at the cuffs, and red goal post/crossbar scrapes/rubbing on one of the "3"s on the back. The other "3" is where Patrick applied a nice black sharpie autograph, adding his number "33". The original nameplate, a fight strap and the more narrow numbers on the back compared to mid-1990s' models are also to note. Worthy of a Hall of Fame goalie jersey collection, the treasure was originally given by Roy to longtime Montreal Canadiens' equipment manager Eddie Palchak.
