CURTIS JOSEPH PHOENIX COYOTES LEFEVRE / RBK GOALIE MASK

An exceptional CURTIS JOSEPH Phoenix Coyotes era mask from 2005 to 2007, originally obtained directly from the Coyotes organization after Joseph departed for Calgary in 2007 to 2008.

This is an extraordinary surviving example from the RBK branded NHL equipment era, featuring a shell made by Lefevre in Laval, Quebec, the renowned company responsible for producing many of the elite RBK goalie mask shells used throughout the NHL during this period. As was common in the era, Reebok branding was applied over premium Lefevre built shells, including many masks used by top professional goaltenders of the time.

Most notably, Lefevre was also behind the iconic RBK shells associated with ROBERTO LUONGO during this same generation, making this a highly symbolic crossover piece for serious collectors of mid 2000s NHL equipment history.

The shell showcases the iconic single bar grill profile that defined the RBK visual identity of the era, giving it immediate display presence.

While Joseph primarily chose to wear ITECH masks during his Phoenix tenure, this RBK branded Lefevre shell was specifically made for him, and its provenance is further elevated by the fact that CURTIS JOSEPH personally handled the mask and confirmed on video that it was made for his use.
