Patrick Roy confirms himself that this set was worn for the Gatorade commercial, featuring himself and Michael Jordan. 

Roy had also signed the Ferland blocker before giving the set away to a good friend. The set has been photo-matched multiple times with Patrick himself confirming that it was indeed his set. The LOA was signed and certified by an official notary. A full ensemble of this level of rarity might never hit the market again.
