🏒 KEN DRYDEN Signed Goalie Masks & Game-Used Stick: Immortal Pieces From the Montreal Forum
🏒🔥 IMMORTAL. KEN DRYDEN. STRAIGHT FROM THE OLD MONTREAL FORUM. Some pieces you sell. Some pieces you protect. These are the second kind.
Goalie Mask Collector has acquired an extremely rare KEN DRYDEN collection through our Consignment-Buy Back Program: two signed goalie masks and a game-used, signed CCM goalie stick. All three came from the original Montreal Forum boutique, the building where DRYDEN made history.

The Collection
- KEN DRYDEN signed "Bullseye" goalie mask in classic Montreal Canadiens red, white and blue.
- KEN DRYDEN signed "Pretzel" replica goalie mask, handmade by Montreal mask maker Marc Poulin and purchased from the Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation. It carries the official Montreal Canadiens authentication hologram, with matching Canadiens certificate and a Robert Girard Sports (RGS) certificate of authenticity.
- KEN DRYDEN game-used CCM goalie stick, factory-stamped "K. DRYDEN" and signed, with an RGS certificate bearing the Montreal Forum logo.
The Signed Goalie Masks
The "Bullseye" goalie mask is finished in classic Canadiens red, white and blue, with KEN DRYDEN's blue signature right across the forehead. The white "Pretzel" replica recreates DRYDEN's iconic mask: cut-out eye holes, raw fiberglass showing through the paint, leather straps and buckles, and a bold blue DRYDEN autograph on the brow.

The Authentication
The "Pretzel" replica carries the official Montreal Canadiens hologram inside the shell, matched to the club's own certificate, along with its Robert Girard Sports certificate of authenticity.

The Game-Used Goalie Stick
A true piece of the dynasty: a CCM goalie stick used by KEN DRYDEN during his career with the Montreal Canadiens, factory-stamped "K. DRYDEN" on the shaft and signed by DRYDEN himself on the paddle. The Robert Girard Sports certificate guarantees its use and signature.

The Legend: KEN DRYDEN
In 1971, a 23-year-old law student out of Cornell played just six regular-season games for the Montreal Canadiens, then stole the playoffs. He won the Conn Smythe Trophy and the Stanley Cup before he was officially a rookie. The next season, he won the Calder Trophy.
Over eight NHL seasons, KEN DRYDEN won six Stanley Cups and five Vezina Trophies, finishing with a 258-57-74 record. He walked away at the top, after four straight Cups from 1976 to 1979.
His Impact on Montreal Goaltending
At 6'4", DRYDEN redefined what a goalie looked like. His calm, cerebral style, and the famous pose of him leaning on his stick, became the standard in the Montreal crease. A generation of Quebec goalies grew up wanting to be him. The line from DRYDEN to ROY to PRICE runs straight through that Pretzel mask. 🔵⚪🔴
His Legacy
We lost KEN DRYDEN to cancer in September 2025, at 78. He was a Hall of Famer, a lawyer, the author of The Game, a Member of Parliament and a federal cabinet minister. An icon on the ice, a statesman off it.
His signed and game-used pieces are disappearing from the market, and items with Montreal Forum boutique provenance almost never surface. These aren't collectibles. They're history. ✍️🏆🥅
