STORY:
A limited-edition signed Carey Price goal mask that was designed to pay respect to legendary netminder Jacques Plante. With the original designed by David Arrigo worn in the 2011 Heritage Classic, 31 faithful replicas were also produced, with this example numbered “17/31”. A Bauer model with Plante’s eyes and mouth peering through the slots, each side has been modelled after Price’s actual ears and hair, with the artist initialing in two spots. Price has added a large silver paint pen signature over the upper left, with the artist signing in matching ink over the right, with the limited-edition number of “20/31” added. A Heritage Classic logo also appears over the back plate, along with the Carson Kolzig Foundation website.
