🗞️Tampa Immortal Seats Show: A Memorable Event with Vasilevskiy, Richter & Thomas!
An incredible and memorable event thrown by Immortal Seats in Tampa yesterday.
We had a great team line up. The Goalie Mask Collector team was out in full force. Our booth was sandwiched between the great goalies Mike Richter, Tim Thomas and Andrei Vasilevskiy.
My favorite parts of the day:
-Finally seeing our GOALIE MASK FAMILY folks from Tampa in person! We always talk on FB, but it's something else to see each other in person. Great community of collectors.
-Chilling and shooting the breeze with Tim Thomas. It was the first time I got to sit down with Tim Thomas. What an amazingly great guy. I told Tim: "As a Habs fan, I always h*ted you. But how can I possibly h*te you now!" We chatted about life in Vermont, hurricanes in Florida, his Stanley Cup run of 2011.
-Catching up with our great friend, Mike Richter. A brilliant gentleman, a star. I told him: "Man, Mike. You are signing non-stop! You are such a hard worker!" He never stopped signing for like 3 hours straight. He laughed and yelled back: "New York, baby!"
This is how awesome Mike Richter is.
I asked him to simply dedicate a mask "To Oasis" for my boy. Instead, Mike took the time to write "To Oasis, all my best wishes! Good luck, friend!"

-Andrei Vasilevskiy dedicating a mask inscription to my 3 years old boy, Oasis. We laughed because Oasis said: "You're the real Vasilevskiy?" Vasy said: "Yes, I'm the real Vasilevskiy, but you don't know because usually I have that mask on my head". Vasy took the time to shake O's hand before he left and gave him a fist pump. The toddler feels like he met a giant superhero.
- Trish Stratus and an amazing gentleman gave Oasis a Trish action figure and dedicated the sig to his name. He went home and watched Trish fight for the first time on Youtube. He goes: "Woh, she fights bad guys!"
-Chilling with Miesha Tate and hearing about her MMA training regiments and how it feels to get punched in the head: EPIC Women's Champion. A deadly weapon!
All in all, what a great and memorable time.
I LOVE THIS BUSINESS!
Thank you, Immortal Seats for putting on an immortal show
