Built on a pro-level shell by Malerba, the mask combines elite protection with visually striking aesthetics. The artwork continues DaveArt's trademark "3-D illusion" and narrative storytelling style, with intricate details only visible upon close inspection. This particular mask is photo-matched to game action during the 2014–15 NHL season, verifying its authenticity and ice use. Bäckström, the Wild’s longtime goaltender, wore this mask in what would become his final season in the NHL, adding historical significance. A must-have for serious collectors, this piece is not only game-worn and certified but also a pinnacle example of goalie mask art during the 2010s.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Item: Niklas Backstrom Game-Worn Goalie Mask

Team: Minnesota Wild

Year: 2014–15

Photo-Matched: Yes

Brand: Dom Malerba

Model: Pro Custom Fiberglass Shell

Painted by: David Gunnarsson (DaveArt)

Extremely rare

Hand-painted ice goalie mask

Full sized

High end collector item

Estimated current value:

OPEN TO OFFERS

HISTORY:

NOTICE:

Please email us beforehand for more details.

Wait time: Ready to ship.

Shipped via: UPS or DHL + Tracking + Insurance

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0252/5603/4383/files/Niklas_Backstrom_Game_Worn_Goalie_Mask_2014-15_Minnesota_Wild__WildInstinctsPartII__By_DaveArt_and_Dom_Malerba_Photo-Matched_AS-03407_1.jpg?v=1756300584
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0252/5603/4383/collections/Niklas_Backstrom_Game_Worn_Goalie_Mask_2014-15_Minnesota_Wild__WildInstinctsPartII__By_DaveArt_and_Dom_Malerba_Photo-Matched_AS-03407_1.jpg?v=1790875828
